Creamy Pasta & Broccoli w/Almonds (German Style)

Penne pasta cooked with broccoli florets then tossed with olive oil, s/pp. Reserve about 1 cup of salted pasta water for cream sauce. In seperate pot melt butter and oil 1tbspn each and add 1/4 cup of flour. whisk and let cook out. Add 1 cup of pasta water and whisk. Then gradually add 2 cups of cream. Whisk constantly until thickened. Pour over pasta and top with slivered almonds. MANGIA!
